The North Eastern States Division undertakes the appraisal of projects under five schemes of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region(MDoNER)- PM-DevINE(Prime Minister’s Development Initiative for North Eastern Region), NESIDS-OTRI(North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme-Other Than Roads Infrastructure), NESIDS-Roads(North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme-Roads), Special Development Packages for Assam and Tripura (BTC and KAATC, NLFT & ATTF, Adivasi Group) and Schemes of North Eastern Council under 500 Crores, in consultation with the subject matter divisions of NITI Aayog.
